Manchester United legend Gary Neville has given a fresh Premier League title race prediction and has said he thinks Arsenal will win the league if they can defeat Liverpool at Anfield next weekend.
Arsenal currently sit top of the table, eight points clear of Manchester City in second, with the Citizens having a game in hand on the Gunners.
Neville has constantly said that Arsenal won’t win the league title all season long and even claimed that Man United would finish above them. Over two months after this clip below, Arsenal are now 22 points clear at the top of the table, with United sitting in fourth, just.

However, the former United right-back has now changed his tune, and admitted that if Arsenal win at Anfield next Sunday, then it could decide the title.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: My mind was certain that Manchester City were going to win the league about six to eight weeks ago. I absolutely thought that by now Arsenal would have dropped lots of points and they would not be where they are. But now I think it’s 50-50.
“I’m not going to put everything on the Liverpool game, but our manager used to say if you won at Anfield at this time of the year, you would win the league. Quite often that proved to be the case. If Arsenal go to Anfield and win, I would say definitely it would be their title.
“The confidence from that would be unbelievable. Anfield is a terror of a place to go.”
With nine games to go, Arsenal look more likely to prevail as every game goes by and with Liverpool up next it could be a huge step towards a first Premier League trophy in 19 years.
