Brighton and Liverpool are set to rekindle their rivalry from last season in the SportsLens simulated Carabao Cup draw. Meanwhile Arsenal will face Salford City, who are owned by the famous Manchester United Class 0f ’92.

There are a few interesting games in the third round following our simulated draw. Liverpool will travel down south to face Brighton, a team they did not manage to beat once last season. The one game they avoided defeat in was one of Roberto De Zerbi’s first Premier League games in-charge of Brighton, in a 3-3 draw.
Brighton then won the reverse league fixture 3-0, before then beating them as defending champions in the FA Cup fourth round, in a 2-1 win.
Arsenal will also play host to Salford City, who are partially-owned by Manchester United’s famous Class of ’92. Salford dramatically made it to the third round after beating Leeds United on penalties, after 20 spot-kicks were taken.
Eight-time champions Manchester City host Bradford City, who famously made it to the 2013 League Cup final, but lost 5-0 to Swansea City.
Meanwhile we also have a feisty Staffordshire derby, with Stoke City hosting noisy neighbours Port Vale.
