The latest Fulham transfer exclusive on SportsLens has revealed that Marco Silva’s side are on the verge of making a final decision over Brazilian midfield target Andre.
Andre To Fulham
The Cottagers have been hot on his tail over recent months with the club undertaking extensive talks over their potential plans, and how they might match his ambitions.
Andre’s current employers, Fluminense, want a firm understanding of his position soon and there has been slow progress on a deal.
The situation surrounding Joao Palhinha‘s future is now thought to be having an impact on Andre’s chances of moving to West London in January.
Bayern Munich will not be making an offer for the Portuguese defensive midfielder – and his £60million valuation is likely to prove too high for any Premier League club interested right now.
Palhinha Future
Fulham are being cautious not to spend unnecessarily this window and with that in mind there has been a growing feeling they will decide not to make an offer for Andre if Palhinha is staying.
The 22-year old recently played at the Club World Cup for Fluminense and was tracked by a host of clubs from Europe, while he also has interest from Saudi Arabia.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both been linked but the Gunners don’t have the financial wiggle room to make an offer for the £20million-rated midfielder right now.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were knocked backed in the summer of 2023 and have not showed any positive signs yet of returning with a new bid.
Cottagers boss Marco Silva recently warned fans not to expect much business this month and that could be a further sign of where this is heading.
