Fulham are in the market to strengthen their midfield this summer and are interested in signing Fred, however they won’t pursue a deal unless Manchester United lower their current £20million asking price.
According to reports, Fulham will no longer pursue a move for Manchester United midfielder Fred unless the Red Devils lower their asking price.
Fred, who has just one year left on his contract at Old Trafford, has been valued at £20million by Manchester United.
The Brazilian will not be offered a renewal, and the club are open to sell the 30-year-old as Erik ten Hag attempts to trim his squad ahead of the new season.
Fulham have held a long-term interest in Fred, however the Daily Telegraph report that they are not prepared to pay £20million for his services.
In the report, it is claimed that Fulham will walk away from the deal and end their interest in the midfielder unless the Red Devils reduce their asking price.

Fred signed for United from Ukrainian outfit Shakthar Donetsk in 2018 for a whopping £52million.
The midfielder signed on a five-year contract, and a further one-year extension was triggered last December in order to gain a fee for his departure.
Despite Ten Hag being prepared to part ways with the Brazil international, he still made 56 appearances for the club last term, scoring six as well as assisting six goals.
Rumours linking Fred with a move to Craven Cottage emerged last month after he was spotted talking to Fulham boss Marco Silva outside Old Trafford after the sides met in the Premier League.
