Frankie Dettori Rides Three Horses at Haydock This Saturday
The pocket Italian Frankie Dettori will be riding this season for the last time after he announced last year this will be his final campaign in the saddle – but he’s already making it a season to remember, by winning the 2000 Guineas and Epsom Oaks.
He’s got THREE more top rides at HAYDOCK on Saturday (10th June), including in the newly named Group Three Lester Piggott Stakes (3pm).

Ran a cracking second last time out here at Haydock in the Group Two Temple Stakes – beaten just a length by the useful Dramatised – so this ease into Listed company will make life easier and this 8 year-old can also be expected to improve with that effort coming off a 3 month break too.

Trained by Robert Cowell, this 5 year-old is yet to win a race from 10 runs on the turf, but has been runner-up in 50% of those races. Fluffed the start a bit the last day so can draw a line under that run, but the time before win at Lingfield to suggest if you can forgive that recent outing isn’t without an e/w squeak.
