Francis Ngannou has disclosed what he said to Tyson Fury throughout their heavyweight boxing crossover clash on Saturday evening.
What Happened During The Ngannou Vs. Fury Fight?
Ngannou, who made his name as a heavyweight UFC champion, made his boxing debut against Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
The Cameroonian-born fighter was considered to be a huge underdog before the bout took place, but more than held his own throughout the clash – even knocking the Gypsy King to the canvas in the third round.
However, the lineal and WBC heavyweight champion, Fury, fought his way back into the fight and went on to win by a controversial split decision.
What Did Ngannou Say To Fury During The Fight?
Francis Ngannou has explained how a Fury comment before the bout spurred him on. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the French-Cameroonian fighter said: “When we touched gloves, he was like ‘let me take you to school’. I’m like ‘you motherf*****, you’re not taking me to school!’
“That’s why when I knocked him down I was dancing in front (of him) like ‘you’re a bad professor, motherf*****! You’re a bad professor. How is that school going? Who is taking who to school?’ Because for me, it looks like I’m the one taking you to school.”
So many people thought Francis Ngannou would be completely gassed after the 2nd round.

What Has Ngannou Said About Fury’s Victory?
Following the fight, the 37-year-old has insisted that he won the fight and has scolded the judges for their decision on the night.
“I’m confident that I won that fight. I wasn’t surprised for what happened.
“I’m alone in this game. I just came from another sport and there’s a structure, a solid business and then you just come to rob that. Imagine if I’d have walked out of there with that belt or with him being defeated for the first time.
“I knew it wasn’t going to happen. I think it’s a shame for boxing, though, and those judges they should be sanctioned. I want to understand why those judges judge like that. Because for me, to be honest, I don’t care that much about that decision. But I think those kind of decisions mess up a lot of people’s careers.”
