Amid rumours of an early exit from Stamford Bridge for Raheem Sterling, Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Chelsea winger is happy at the Bridge and is still committed to a long-term future.
Raheem Sterling only joined Chelsea last year, however there have already been rumours swirling that the winger is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and looking for a move away already.
Those rumours were quashed today by Fabrizio Romano however, after the transfer mogul revealed a statement from Sterling’s representative Kelly Hogarth regarding the players future:
Raheem Sterling’s rep Kelly Hogarth on his future: “Sterling has expressed no discontent with Chelsea, committed his long-term future to the new ownership this summer — there is to be no review of his position in the upcoming transfer window”. 🔵

Sterling only signed for Chelsea at the beginning of the season for £47.5 million however the forward has struggled for form in London, with just four goals and two assists in 18 Premier League appearances this season.
Although the numbers may not impress, Sterling is still Chelsea’s joint top goalscorer this season and it can’t be forgotten that the 28-year old suffered a hamstring injury against Manchester City, as well as picking up a knock to his knee that kept the player sidelined for a brief period of the season.
Chelsea spent over £300 million in January to try and turn their season around and with high profile attackers such as Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke all joining the Blues, it came as no surprise Sterling transfer rumours began to circulate.

Graham Potter’s side are currently tenth in the Premier League and showing no sign of improving after back to back losses against Tottenham and Southampton, with the Chelsea manager now 1/3 favourite to be the next manager sacked this season.
Sterling was unfortunate enough to miss the first leg of Chelsea’s Champions League round of 16 tie with Borussia Dortmund, but the winger will be hoping to make his return to European football next week as Chelsea attempt to come back from 1-0 down against their German opposition.
