Everton bounced back in impressive style to record a 3-0 win at home against Bournemouth, marking a first clean sheet of the season to lift themselves clear of the danger zone.

James Garner opened the scoring for the hosts after eight minutes, continuing his impressive form as of late. He has scored or assisted three goals in his last four outings for the Toffees.

Jack Harrison bagged his first goal for the club shortly before half-time, capitalising on a punched clearance from Neto to take the ball first time on the half-volley and fire home from distance.

Sean Dyche would’ve been delighted with his side’s lead at the interval and it was made even more comfortable on the hour mark thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s third goal of the campaign.

Everton have now won three of their last four, with victories against Brentford in the league and Aston Villa in the EFL Cup in their stride – coming at a pivotal time of year.

According to the latest Everton January transfer odds, the club looks ready for reinforcements to join the scene and help the Toffees avoid relegation for the third season in a row.

Wilfried Gnonto, Che Adams, Adnan Januzaj, Jesse Lingard, Patson Daka, Kelechi Iheanacho and Harry Maguire have been touted as potential targets during the upcoming window.

Until Saturday afternoon, Everton hadn’t scored more than one goal at Goodison Park in 17 games (last vs Crystal Palace in October 2022).

They now face a difficult period with trips to Anfield to face Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby and the London Stadium against West Ham on the horizon.

Saturday’s result lifts Everton three points clear of the relegation zone in 15th and Premier League betting sites are backing them to avoid the drop again.
