Everton Emerge As Favourites To Sign Out Of Favour Manchester United Star Anthony Elanga

It is looking like Anthony Elanga will leave Old Trafford this summer as Manchester United continue to clear the decks ahead of next season, with Everton emerging as favourites to sign the winger.

Manchester United are in desperate need of funds in this transfer window and Erik Ten Hag may be forced to sell some out of favour players in order to bring in new stars ahead of next season.

With Mason Mount already costing the Red Devils £60m this summer, United are in need of funds to secure the likes of Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund in a busy transfer window.

Anthony Elanga looks like one of those destined for the exit door this year and Everton have emerged as favourites to sign the winger amid transfer speculation.

The Swedish star became a regular in the United side during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s penultimate season in Manchester, but since Erik Ten Hag took charge last year the 21-year-old has struggled for game time.

Elanga’s last Premier League appearance came during United’s embarrassing 7-0 hammering from Liverpool in March, as he featured off the bench during the record breaking loss.

Having only started seven matches last season, Elanga is looking for regular first team football and a move to Everton could be exactly what the youngster needs.

With United desperate for transfer funds this summer, it is highly likely that Elanga will leave Old Trafford in favour of Everton or Borussia Dortmund who are also reportedly interested.
