The move promised a chance for Bailly to get game time for the Ligue 1 team. Unfortunately, Marseille decided not to use their option to buy leaving Bailly with no option but to return to Old Trafford.
The latest Bailly transfer news points towards a return to La Liga for Bailly. Real Betis are interested in signing Bailly this summer. However, the Spanish club don’t have the biggest of transfer budgets this summer, meaning it might be another loan spell for Bailly.
