Viddal Riley’s Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis prediction is one of the strongest opinions we’ve come across ahead of Saturday’s main event billing.

Even those who don’t indulge in crossover boxing or influencer fights will have heard about Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ well-documented feud.

What first appeared so be bloated theatrics on social media has quickly intensified into a very personal, toxic exchange that should translate to a vicious bout on Saturday.

Danis, a welterweight Bellator fighter, has been hit with a restraining order due to harassing Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, after repeatedly posting crass comments and x-Rated pictures in the weeks building up to Saturday’s fight.

Although Dillon Danis holds greater experience as a fighter, he is yet to venture into the world of boxing. This had led to many observers backing Logan Paul, despite the YouTuber-turned-boxer failing to win in any of his fights.

He did go the distance with Floyd Mayweather even though no winner was announced, whilst his only professional fight on record was against KSI, who was judged the winner via split decision.

Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped newly-crowned British cruiserweight champion Viddal Riley – who trained KSI between 2017 and 2019 – from making a bold prediction.

Speaking to the Daily Mail towards the end of September, Riley said: “I think Logan’s going to kill him, to be honest. Not literally! I need to be careful with my words.

“Dillon Danis has never proven that he’s effective with punching. We know that he’s a jiu-jitsu specialist.

“But when it comes to throwing strikes, I’ve never seen anything that makes me think he can stop someone like Logan attacking him. So, I see a Logan Paul win.”

He went on to comment on the bitter feud that has threaten to overshadow the build-up to the fight, describing it as distasteful.

“It’s not something personally that I would do. That’s not how I was raised. It’s not something that I look to do – ridicule a man’s fiance, speak about people who have passed away,” Riley said.

“It’s not really my flavour – it’s quite distasteful. But, look at these guys’ backgrounds and what they do. They’re like master trolls. Nothing is off limits for them.

“If I was ever in that realm, I would match it. I’m not going to be bullied. At the same time, it is distasteful and excessive. But it is good promo.”
