Crystal Palace are interested in signing Torino defender Perr Schuurs amid rumours that the duo of Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen could be on the move this summer.

The Dutch centre-back signed for the Italian outfit from Ajax last season and made 30 appearances in his first campaign in Serie A.

Schuurs does have three years remaining on his current contract but Palace are eager to bring him to Selhurst Park this summer.

However, any deal for Schuurs could depend on whether or not the Eagles sell on of their two starting centre-backs due to the likely high price Torino will demand.

Guehi and Andersen have enjoyed another strong season together in the heart of the Palace defence and are attracting plenty of interest. The former has been linked with moves to both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, meanwhile the latter has recently been subject to interest from Newcastle United.

Former Chelsea academy prospect Guehi was named Palace’s players’ player of the season in his debut season which resulted in him earning his first England cap.

Schuurs could be the perfect replacement for a loss of any centre-back at Palace with him impressing when on international duty for both the Netherlands Under-19 and Under-21 sides.

The Dutchman averaged 3.2 clearances, 1.7 tackles and was only dribbled past 0.4 times per game last season without committing any errors leading to shots or goals.
