Cheltenham Lucky 15 Tips on Day Three: It’s Stayers’ Hurdle Day at the Festival
You can back our four best bets at the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday in a Lucky 15 bet at BoyleSports. They also have a nice welcome offer – bet ÂŁ10, get ÂŁ20 in Cheltenham free bets.
Our day three Cheltenham four-timer also pays 35/1 if you just wanted to do a straight acca (see the bet slip below)
1.30: Turners Novices’ Chase ITV1: MIGHTY POTTER @ 11/10 with BoyleSports
Mighty Potter brings the best chasing form to the table here and is taken to get favourite backers off to a winning start. This Gordon Elliott-trained 6 year-old was last seen winning the Ladbrokes Novice Chase at Leopardstown – which was his third win over fences. He remains unbeaten over the bigger obstacles and rating 162 is also the clear top-rated in the field – 10lbs clear of rest.
2.50: Ryanair Chase ITV1: SHISHKIN @ 5/6 with BoyleSports
This Nicky Henderson-trained 9 year-old will be all the rage here after winning well at Ascot last time out. That was Shishkin’s first try over the longer trip and despite flopping at the Festival last year in the Champion Chase can make amends. Let’s also not forget he’s still 8-from-10 over fences. He can give trainer Nicky Henderson his third in this race having won it with Riverside Theatre and Fondmort.
3.30: Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle ITV1: BLAZING KHAL: @ 11/4 with BoyleSports
Blazing Khal is 2-from-2 at Cheltenham and looks to have a top chance of making it three wins at Prestbury Park. The Charles Byrnes runner has been heading the betting for this for a while now and it’s easy to see why. He’s still only 7 years-old too and should have more to come. He can give the promising Philip Byrnes his biggest winner to date.
4.50: Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle RTV: LUCCIA @ 6/4 with BoyleSports
It’s hard to know what Luccia has beaten to date, but what we do know it that she’s done it well and comes here unbeaten from four runs. This Nicky Henderson mare was last seen dotting up at Exeter in February in a Listed Mares race. If bringing that form to the table might be hard to beat. The Willie Mullins runner Lot Of Joy can give her most to think about.

What Is a Lucky 15 Bet?
If you are not sure what a Lucky 15 bet is – let us explain
In short, a Lucky 15 bet will involve 4 HORSES and these picks are permed up in singles, doubles, trebles and a 4-fold.
With the four horses, there are 15 bets across four different selections – hence where the name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from.
Therefore, the more of your four horses to win, means a bigger return. While if only one horse wins, then you are left with just one of the 15 bets – a single.
The Lucky 15 Bet Perms are: 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator.
