Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly on his way out of Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea pushing for a sale to Inter.

The Gabonese international is said to be keen on a move back to Barcelona.

Barcelona see the forward as a backup option as they prioritise a move for Brazilian youngster Vitor Roque.

He made an incredible impact at the club after arriving as a mid-season signing last season.

In just 18 La Liga appearances, Aubameyang found the net on 11 occasions.

Aubameyang was recently photographed in the Barca dressing room after their El Clasico win over Real Madrid, after becoming an outcast at Chelsea.

This has caused anger at Stamford Bridge, Fichajes have reported.

The club are said to be unhappy with Auba’s flirting with the Catalan club and are unhappy over the “disaster” his move back to London has been.

He has scored just once in the Premier League in 12 appearances in Blues colours.

Fichajes also added that Inter are very interested in the 33-year-old, but Aubameyang is holding out for a move back to the Camp Nou.

Even if his move turned out not to be a disaster, Chelsea would likely be forced to sell him.

Recent financial results are said to have made it clear to the club that they must sell assets this summer. This is in order to balance the books, and to avoid any financial fair play punishments.

His disaster move has led to him being frozen out of the Blues squad. Aubameyang is without an appearance for Chelsea since the end end of February, and is almost certain to leave this summer.
