According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plattenberg, Graham Potter’s side are ‘definitely in the race’ to sign Rice, so he is believed to be one of the club’s leading targets this summer.

Rice is under contract at West Ham until 2024, but the club have an option of extending a further year until 2025 due to a clause in his contract. If he was to leave this summer, David Moyes’ side will be looking for over £100 million for their star player.

The England international spent seven years in Chelsea’s academy before being released at 14. Could he make a return, or could we see him elsewhere in London?
