Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer Wesley Fofana to Bayern Munich, however the French defender’s price-tag could halt negotiations.
As the 2022-23 season reaches its climax, Chelsea supporters will be ready to forget their club’s display during the campaign. Finishing 12th in the Premier League, the Blues recorded their worst season in Premier League history.
With European football not returning to Stamford Bridge, any activity in the summer will be impacted. However, the Blues are the league’s biggest spenders over the last two windows – spending over half a billion pounds.
However, a host of players are expected to leave the club with this summer, as N’Golo Kante , Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy all complete moves elsewhere.
Another Chelsea star that could depart this summer is former Leicester defender, Wesley Fofana, as the Frenchman has reportedly been offered to Bayern Munich.

The Frenchman appeared 25 times in all competitions this season, with two of his performances coming in Leicester City’s opening fixtures in the 2022-23 campaign.
However, after moving to the Blues for around £70m, the 22-year-old made 23 appearances in all competitions and showed glimpses of the form he found at Leicester.
Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, is said to be a huge admirer of the young defender after their time together at Stamford Bride and has reportedly pushed for the Chelsea star.
A move to Bayern seems unlikely, as the German side are reportedly close to signing Napoli defender, Kim Min-Jae and may not need an additional defender.
Another stumbling block is the reported price tag that Chelsea have placed on Fofana, as the France international is under contract until 2029.
