Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr. has been priced at 16/1 to end the season as the UEFA Champions League leading goal scorer, per UK betting sites, after his brace against Liverpool.

Following Real Madrid’s emphatic 5-2 victory over Liverpool, their odds of winning the Champions League slashed to 16/1. Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr. both scored twice and Eder Militao chipped in with a well-taken header.

The Brazilian winger scored six goals during the group stage, with only Mohamed Salah (8) and Kylian Mbappe (7) scoring more. Tonight’s brace moves the winger above Mbappe and one goal behind the Egypt international, with the Brazilian looking more likely to progress than Salah.

The 22-year-old has already surpassed the six goals he scored in the whole of last seasons Champions League campaign. Madrid’s run last year was carried by Karim Benzema’s vital goals but this year the responsibility has been put on Vinicius Jr.

Madrid welcome Liverpool to the Bernabeu on March 15th as the Reds look to shock the footballing world and turn over a three goal deficit. Both Salah and Vinicius Jr. have found the net in the tie already and will be hoping to do so again over in Spain.

UCL Top Scorer Odds:

Erling Haaland @ 6/4

Kylian Mbappe @ 3/1

Mohamed Salah @ 8/1

Vinicius Jr. @ 16/1
