Jake Paul has revealed that five-time Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo will be in attendance for this Sunday’s highly anticipated bout against Tommy Fury.

Paul and Fury have been scheduled to fight twice before this weekend, with both matches being cancelled for various reasons. Tyson Fury’s younger half-brother pulled out due to a rib injury in the lead up to the first fight and was denied access to the USA weeks before their rearranged bout.

This called for a change of venue which means the fight will now take place in Saudi Arabia, a neutral arena for both parties. Cristiano Ronaldo recently moved to Saudi Arabia, as he signed for Al-Nassr on what has been reported as the most lucrative football contract of all time.

The former Manchester United player has been enjoying his time in the Middle East, contributing to six goals in his last two matches, which included four goals against Al-Wadeh. Being in Saudi Arabia has made many fans wonder if he will be attending the fight, a question that Paul answered during his latest presser.

The 25-year-old said: “Yeah I think he’s (Ronaldo) coming to the fight.”

If Ronaldo attends the bout then he will join the multitude of celebrities that have been to an influencer boxing event. The likes of Justin Bieber, Holly Willoughby, and Rick Ross have all appeared in the past and people expect to see even more A-lister’s on Sunday.

The Portuguese star is yet to give a prediction for the fight, but with Fury being born and raised in Manchester, that may be where his allegiances lie. The fighters are set to make their ring-walks at 9:30 GMT, in what could be a potential classic.
