According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been approached by two Saudi Pro League sides amid rumours that he will depart Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has exclusively revealed that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has received an approach from two Saudi Pro League sides.

Hudson-Odoi spent last season on loan with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, but is now the latest in a long list of names linked with a move to the Middle East.

Cristiano Ronaldo famously made the move to Saudi Arabia earlier this year, followed recently by Karim Benzema and ex-Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.

Romano revealed the news on his Twitter account.

“Callum Hudson-Odoi has been approached by two Saudi clubs today. He’s one more name discussed with Chelsea.” he tweeted.

“Talks have not started yet on the player side — not clear yet whether CHO would accept Saudi move or not.”

Hudson-Odoi has also been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest, however a mouth-watering offer from the Middle East may be the preferred option for the 22-year-old.

Following Kante’s move to Al-Ittihad, Hudson-Odoi is one of many Blues stars linked with a move to the up-and-coming league.

Romano has also reported that Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly are all close to completing moves to Saudi Arabia.

This comes as Chelsea look to part ways with upwards of 10 players this summer, in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Blues spent over £600million in the previous two transfer windows, therefore a multitude of players will need to be struck off the wage bill for the club to balance the books ahead of the new campaign.
