Manchester City youngster Cole Palmer is drawing interest from all over, and now according to reports Brighton & Hove Albion are leading the chase to sign him on loan whilst Burnley and Leicester also remain interested.

Cole Palmer is subject to plenty of loan interest, and according to reports – it is Brighton who lead the race more the Manchester City youngster’s signature.

This comes from The Telegraph reporter James Ducker, who claims that Pep Guardiola and Txiki Begiristain are admirers of Roberto De Zerbi’s playing style and believe the Seagulls would be a good fit for Palmer’s development.

The report also confirms that City are unwilling to part ways with the 21-year-old permanently, and will only allow him to depart on loan next season.

Brighton won’t be without competition in the race to sign Palmer though, with Burnley and Leicester also heavily linked, whilst there is also reported interest from overseas.

The Sun reported earlier in the week that Burnley and Leicester headed the chase for the youngster, with both clubs having links to City.

Vincent Kompany, the Clarets manager, was City’s captain for eight years, whilst new Foxes boss Enzo Maresca was Guardiola’s assistant at the Etihad last season.

Their report claimed though, that there is a feeling that Palmer is too good for the Championship, and now with Brighton also interested – a move to Leicester looks quite unlikely.

It seems to be the perfect time for Palmer to be heading out on loan now though, as he is now 21-years-of-age and has yet to have a full season of consistent minutes at senior level, therefore a loan move could be exactly what he needs to take his career to the next level.
