After leaving Leicester City by mutual consent, could Brendan Rodgers be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur? He’s now one of the contenders for the job behind Julian Nagelsmann amongst others. So, let’s take a look at the latest next Spurs manager odds.

Leicester have parted ways with Rodgers after a dismal run of form that leaves the side in the relegation zone with 10 games left to play.

Rodgers leaves the Foxes after leading them to two consecutive fifth placed finishes in the Premier League in 2020 and 2021. He also led them to their first ever FA Cup win two years ago too, and will go down in history of one of the club’s greatest managers.

However, results this season have not been good enough.

The former Liverpool and Celtic boss has been linked with the Spurs job in the past and is now one of the leading contenders to become their next manager. Tottenham haven’t got a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte yet, but have been linked with plenty of big names.

Former-boss Mauricio Pochettino’s name has been doing the rounds with many Spurs fans on social media wanting to see a return of the Argentinian. However, Poch has reportedly rejected an offer to rejoin his former side.

Spurs are also said to be huge admirers of the recently-sacked Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann. The German is the current market favourite to be Conte’s successor at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Another name that’s been mentioned is Vincent Kompany, who is the current manager of Championship table toppers Burnley.
