After Harry Maguire was removed as club captain, Erik Ten Hag named the ever-reliable Bruno Fernandes as the new man to lead them to success.
The Portuguese maestro is a popular FPL pick largely due to his seemingly boundless capacity to play football. For example, he played the most minutes of any player in Europe last season, including over 6,000 minutes and 70 games for club and country.
He should be enthused in his new-found role as the focal point, and he could prove to be a worthwhile selection given he ranked just six points off the top 10 for most FPL points last season.

His most potent year in a Red Devils shirt saw him become their man source of goals, hitting 17 in the league including a staggering post-World Cup run where he scored 10 in as many games.
The arrival of Rasmus Hojlund could free up even more space for the 25-year-old and relieve some pressure as their main goalscorer, and we expect he will kick on and have another stellar season.
He also finished in the top five for most FPL points with 205, and was the third-most picked player.
Andre Onana (£5m)
The arrival of new number one Andre Onana has Erik Ten Hag’s fingerprints all over it, and the Cameroonian should transform the way United play out from the back.
Despite David De Gea’s ugly exit this summer, the Spaniard actually kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League last year, which bodes well for Onana.
