Bayern Munich have submitted a €70million bid plus add-ons to sign Spurs striker Harry Kane who has just one year left on his deal at the London club.

According to David Ornstein, Bayern are in the market for a new frontman to lead the line after failing to adequately replace Robert Lewandowski last summer.

Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is now in charge of the German giants and knows all too well what type of an impact Kane could bring to the club, but it’s expected that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will comfortably reject the offer.

Manchester United have also been reported as a potential landing spot for the 29-year-old, who trails only Alan Shearer in the race to become the Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer.

  • Bayern Munich @ 4/5
  • Stay at Tottenham @ 6/4
  • Manchester United @ 7/1
  • Real Madrid @ 10/1
  • PSG @ 10/1
  • Chelsea @ 20/1

According to the best Premier League betting sites, Kane has shifted to an odds-on price to make the switch to Munich following Ornstein’s report on Tuesday morning.

However, Tottenham remain around the same odds to hold on to the player which would likely see him sign a new deal and go on to eclipse Shearer’s record who scored his 260th and final league goal in April 2006.

Various reports earlier this year suggested Real Madrid were in for the player, who have just added his international teammate Jude Bellingham, and look set to enter the new season with Joselu up front.

Whatever happens with Kane’s future, he is sure to score goals wherever he ends up.
