In the latest Harry Kane news, Bayern Munich are not giving up on their pursuit for the Tottenham striker and are planning to launch a second bid this week.

Harry Kane News: Bayern Plotting Improved Second Bid

It is claimed that Bayern have already had a £60m bid rejected for Kane but are planning a new and improved bid of £80m plus add-ons to secure his services.

The England international is the country’s record scorer as well as being Spurs’ top marksman of all time, but is yet to win a trophy during his incredible career.

With just one year left on his contract, Kane could certainly leave this summer. Manchester United set their sights on the 29-year-old but Tottenham refused to do business with them because they are a Premier League rival.

Bayern board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is leading the pursuit of the Spurs striker. Kane is believed to want to join the Bundesliga outfit over any other club if he is allowed to leave this summer.

However the North London side have insisted that Kane is not for sale and the club would not welcome any bids for the England captain.

If Bayern can not strike a permanent deal this summer, then they would be interested in signing Kane on a free transfer when his Spurs contract expires in 2024.

It is unknown whether Tottenham will lose their star man or not in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for any Harry Kane news on our site.
