According to Spanish outlet Sport, La Liga giants Barcelona are ramping up their interest in signing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan this summer.
The report claims Barca scouts were in attendance to watch Gundogan in City’s 3-0 Champions League win over Bayern Munich in midweek.

Gundogan played a vital role in the match, inspiring Pep Guardiola’s side to a comfortable first-leg victory.
And now, with the Blaugrana looking to add quality in midfield, the German has been identified as a key candidate.
Now 32, Gundogan is said to be keen on the idea. He is believed to be searching for a new challenge after seven successful years in Manchester.
