In the latest Chelsea transfer news, Blues duo N’Golo Kante and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are reportedly being targeted by La Liga leaders Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea Transfer News
According to the Mirror, La Liga giants Barcelona are targeting a summer swoop for Chelsea duo N’Golo Kante and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
This comes ahead of a likely summer clear out for the Blues, having spent over £600 million on new players over the past year.
Barcelona have long been linked with Aubameyang, with the forward having already played at the Camp Nou, but links to Kante is fresh news.
The Frenchman’s contract at Stamford Bridge comes to an end in the summer, but Chelsea have an option to extend his stay by a year.
Their option to extend his contract ends in May however, so if the clause isn’t activated, Kante will be free to join whoever he desires in the summer.

It is reported that Barca are looking to hand Kante a two-year contract, but due to their financial situation, it’s likely that he’ll have to take a pay cut.
Their interest in Aubameyang comes after the forward’s terrible season with Chelsea.
The former Arsenal captain joined the Blues from Barcelona back in September.
Since making the move, he has made 13 appearances for the London club, scoring just once.
And now, following his torrid time at Stamford Bridge, it is reported that the Gabonese forward wants a move away.
Aubameyang moving back to the Catalan club isn’t unlikely, as the forward reportedly still holds a strong relationship with the club despite leaving last year.
It has even been reported that the French born striker would take a pay cut to rejoin the Blaugrana to ensure a move in the summer.
