We’re taking a look at the latest Roberto Firmino next club odds, after Barcelona legend Patrick Kluivert urges his former team to sign the soon-to-be free agent.

Firmino is set to leave Liverpool in the summer, after deciding not to sign a new contract at Anfield. It’s fair to say he’s enjoyed his time in the Premier League.

The Brazilian forward signed for the Reds from Hoffenheim back in 2015, and has made over 350 appearances for the club. In that time, he’s scored 108 goals and contributed 79 assists. After signing for £29 million eight years ago, he’ll no leave for free at the end of June.

He hasn’t featured too much for Jurgen Klopp’s side as this campaign has gone on, due to various injury problems. However, in 19 appearances in the league, he’s netted eight goals. His most recent came in Liverpool’s 7-0 demolition of Manchester United.

There’s an array of clubs that would certainly benefit from the free transfer of the Liverpool ace, with many interested. Napoli, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have been rumoured to be keen on the signing.

Saying that, ex-Barca forward Patrick Kluivert has urged his former side to get Firmino to the Camp Nou this summer.

“Financial Fair Play is something you need to know, but who is on my wish-list?

“Definitely needs to be a striker. Because after Lewandowski you need to have a central striker. I’m really fond of Goncalo Ramos. I like that player and he’s done a very good job for the Portugal national team and also at Benfica.

“Fimino to Barcelona, I think he would also be a very interesting player. A striker is what is needed to strengthen Barcelona. The rest would be fine if everyone stayed.
