SportsLens Head of News Lee Astley said: “After lifting an iconic World Cup alongside Lionel Messi, and playing an instrumental role in Aston Villa’s qualification for European football, it’s no surprise to see Emiliano Martinez favoured in the latest Yashin Trophy winner odds at 6/4.

“Manchester City’s Ederson is in with a great chance too at 9/4 having secured a record-breaking treble under Pep Guardiola last term, coupled with some memorable stops and performances for the Cityzens both domestically, and in European football.

“Like Martinez, Yassine Bounou of Morocco, and Dominik Livakovic of Croatia, both had incredible World Cup campaigns out in Qatar earning them a nomination for the trophy, with the former holding a price of 12/1 having also lifted the Europa League last season, and the latter being priced at 16/1 following his transfer to Fenerbahce.

Premier League duo Aaron Ramsdale, and Andre Onana look to be the longshots for the accolade, alongside Lens’ Brice Samba, with Ramsdale priced at 20/1 after completing a stunning campaign with Arsenal, being pipped to the title late on by Manchester City, whilst Onana is priced at 25/1 after playing a major role in Inter’s run to the Champions League final, as well as having helped his side to a ninth Coppa Italia title.”
