Arsenal vs Man City Prediction

Man City travel down to the Emirates without losing consecutive Premier League games for almost five years and will be keen to keep that tremendous record in tact.

There’s no denying that Pep Guardiola’s side have been below their best in recent weeks, but the Cityzens can bounce back in style here. City lost their first league game of the season last weekend when they were stunned by Wolves.

The Gunners lost 2-1 to Lens in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and Mikel Arteta will hope the side can put that behind them ahead of what is set to be their toughest test yet this season on Sunday.

Arsenal could also be without Bukayo Saka for Sunday’s game, leaving them without one of their most prolific players. It is unknown whether the England international will feature or not, but only time will tell.

Alvarez could find himself in a lot of space with Arsenal likely to double up on Haaland in a bid to stop him. So for us Alvarez to score is a solid play in this one.

The youngster has been one of City’s standout performers so far this season and has every chance of getting on the scoresheet. Last time out in the side’s Champions League win over RB Leipzig, Alvarez came off the bench to produce a goal and an assist in just over 10 minutes on the pitch.
