Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City star, Ilkay Gundogan, as the German’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions for the third consecutive season, after Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Captain, Ilkay Gundogan, has played a huge part in City’s title triumph once again, as he contributed to four goals in two matches that sealed the Cityzen’s place at the top of the Premier League.
The Premier League is only the start of City’s potential treble-winning season, with the FA Cup and Champions League still firmly in their hands.
Pep Guardiola’s side will face Manchester United in the FA Cup final, as they look to avenge the 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils in the last fixture between the clubs.
The Champions League final will throw a different problem, as the Cityzens face Inter in a match that could end the clubs wait for a European trophy.
Despite this potentially historic season, one player that could be leaving is club captain, Ilkay Gundogan. The former Borussia Dormund midfielder has a few months left on his current contract and is yet to agree a new deal.

The German international has attracted interest from a host of clubs, as Arsenal are reportedly interested in landing his signature in the summer.

Poor performances against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton ended any chances of a title triumph and highlighted the places to strengthen this summer.
