In the latest Arsenal & Chelsea transfer news, the London pair are reportedly interested in making a move for Wolfsburg’s German right back Ridle Baku.

Respected German journalist Christian Falk has revealed that London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing Wolfsburg right-back Ridle Baku this summer.
Baku, who hails from Mainz, joined Wolfsburg from his boyhood club in 2020 for around £10 million and hasn’t looked back since.
In 26 Bundesliga appearances this term, the defender has five goals and one assist.
He also has the capability of playing on the right side of the midfield, making him a versatile player to have at your disposal.
Baku is also a full German international. Since making his debut for Die Mannschaft back in 2020, he has accumulated four appearances as well as a goal.

The 25-year-old’s rise to prominence in the Bundesliga has now seen Premier League, as well as La Liga interest.
“Ridle Baku of Wolfsburg got the call from Arsenal. The Gunners are interested in the German player who can play right-back and right-wing,” Falk wrote.
“But they’re not alone in their interest, as Chelsea made a call themselves during the winter window. Villarreal also want to make a bid this summer.”
According to Transfermarkt, the player is valued at around £13 million, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2025.
A price tag that is hardly a problem for the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal who have spent heavily in the transfer market in recent years.
It’s a move that certainly makes sense for the Blues especially.
Baku could provide back-up to Reece James, who has struggled with different injuries over the past couple of years, as Cesar Azpilicueta’s contract at Stamford Bridge comes to an end in 2024.
