Tottenham are now without a win in their last three games, losing 1-0 to Sheffield United and Wolves alongside Champions League agony in north London.
Premier League betting sites have priced Spurs at 23/10 to finish in the top four season, but uncertainty over Conte’s future at the club may cause these odds to shift in the coming days.
Rumours regarding the Italian’s future at Tottenham have been circulating for months since reports emerged that Daniel Levy was not preparing to offer the 53-year-old a contract extension at the end of the season.
Spurs are fourth in the Premier League table and will now turn their attention to Saturday’s clash against Nottingham Forest who are also seeking to end a winless run of four games.
If Liverpool win their game in hand, Jurgen Klopp’s side will leapfrog Tottenham into fourth and send the north Londoners back down to fifth in the Europa League spot, which is being contested by Newcastle, Fulham and Brighton also.
