Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann could be set for a reunion with some of his former Barcelona teammates as reports suggest he has multiple offers on the table from MLS clubs.

Antoine Griezmann Targeted By MLS Clubs Including Inter Miami

The France international has always been open about his love for America and American sport in particular, and has mentioned his desires to play in the MLS one day.

Well, that could be coming sooner rather than later. Several MLS clubs have reportedly been in contact with Griezmann over a move to the United States.

Atletico are said to believe the 32-year-old wants to leave the club next summer, despite his contract not running out until 2026.

Griezmann rejoined Atletico from Barcelona last summer but recently confirmed he wants to follow in the footsteps of Messi to America.

“I’ve always said that my objective would be to end there. Because I like American sports, I’d like to play in MLS and to enjoy playing there – to be competitive, to be able to win there and to play at my top level,” he said.

“But first of all, I’d like to continue to make history here. To win titles here with Atletico. We’ll see obviously in the future but for me one of my objectives is to end up playing in MLS.”

He could reunite with former Barca teammates Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami. Interestingly, Griezmann is also a huge admirer of David Beckham, who owns the club. He said back in 2018: “If Beckham wants me in his club, then I’ll go”.

It is no secret that Griezmann loves Miami as a city, and was spotted watching Miami Heat in the NBA earlier this year, as well as being spotted at an Inter Miami game. The Frenchman could well find himself there permanently next summer.
