Al-Ittihad are still keen on signing Mohamed Salah. The Saudi Pro League side had multiple offers rejected by Liverpool in the summer.

How much are Al-Ittihad prepared to offer?

Al-Ittihad are ready to bid £200m for Salah this summer. This would surpass PSG’s £187m bid for Neymar. Salah is expected to join Jurgen Klopp in exiting Liverpool in the summer.

Salah will turn 32 in June and Liverpool would be smart to cash in on him whilst he’s still one of the best in the world.

The Egyptian picked up an injury at AFCON but reports say he will return to training next week.

Despite Salah agreeing to go to Saudi Arabia last summer, Liverpool weren’t willing to sell Salah without a replacement.

Salah Out, Mbappe In?

With Liverpool’s fifth all time leading goalscorer linked with Al-Ittihad again, the Reds should be looking at  a replacement.

Liverpool have been linked with Mbappe with the Frenchman out-of-contract in the summer. They’re battling with Real Madrid for his signature.

Salah is a right winger and Mbappe is known to be a left winger but Liverpool have many versatile players to fill Salah’s position if Liverpool wanted to go for Mbappe.

The 25-year-old feels it’s time to step away from his boyhood club to pursue his dream of winning the Champions League.

L’Equipe journalist Loic Tansi said : “Mbappe loves Paris Saint-Germain. He’s a young man from the area around Paris.

“If you asked me the question during the summer, I would say 100 per cent he would leave at the end of the season.

“He wants to feel that the PSG  can do it. If he does not think they can win the Champions League, he will leave.”

PSG’s form is declining rapidly. Once a feared side; PSG have faced 4-1 and 2-1 away defeats to Newcastle and AC Milan. They just scraped a face in the the Round of 16 where they’ll face Real Sociedad.

PSG have also never won the Champions League compared to Liverpool being six time winners.
