AEK Larnaca advanced to the Europa Conference League last-16 with a 1-0 win over Ukrainian side Dnipro-1.

The Cypriot side, who currently sit second in the Cyprus First Division, were originally in the Europa League, but dropped out after finishing third in their group behind Fenerbahce and Stade Rennais.

They come into this tie off the back of a 3-1 league victory over Enosis Neon Paralimniou, where star player Ivan Trickovski netted a hat-trick.

Omri Altman has been their danger man this season. The Israeli midfielder has scored 11 goals in all competitions for the Guardians.

West Ham, of course, are currently fighting for Premier League survival. The Hammers are lingering with relegation, and sit just one point clear of the drop zone in 16th

David Moyes’ side didn’t have to play in the last round, after advancing straight to the last-16 thanks to a stellar 100% record in the group stage.

Their form is not what they would’ve hoped for coming into this tie, having lost their last two matches 4-0 and 3-1 respectively.

AEK Larnaca Vs West Ham Team News

Larnaca will be without Spanish duo Angel Garcia and Pere Pons as they both serve a suspension for receiving three yellow cards in Europe this season.

Otherwise Larnaca have a clean bill of health, and should have the majority of their squad to choose from.

Lukasz Fabianski remains out for the visitors with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket. Moyes will have the rest of his squad to choose from however, as he looks certain to make changes.

Gianluca Scamacca will be eyeing a first Hammers start since January, having been out with injury.
