The penultimate round of the Europa League group stage is upon us, and Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton face a crucial battle in Group B as they take on AEK Athens at the OPAP Arena on Thursday night.
Currently second in the group, the Seagulls can confirm their spot in the knockout rounds with a win over the Greek champions, however it won’t come easy as AEK came out on top in the reverse fixture on Matchday 1.
AEK themselves have it all to play for too, sitting just three points behind Brighton. This means that in order to keep their hopes of advancing in the competition alive, they’ll need to repeat their Amex heroics once more.
