Paddy Twomey has a good record at the first time of asking with horses he tales over from other yards, scoring with 15 of the 42 qualifiers (prior to Beechwood’s run in the 5.50 here yesterday) for a profit of £50.84 to a £1 level stake at SP. NELDA, ex-Jessie Harrington and 20lb clear on Racing Post Ratings, could prove hard to beat in the first-time cheekpieces.

BLONDE ARROW (system – Heather Main, second career start, AW)
Heather Main ended a quiet spell with well-backed winner Believe You Me at Chepstow last Friday and several of her other recent runners have performed well in defeat. BLONDE ARROW finished well beaten when a 20-1 fifth of six over 1m3f here in early May but will improve for that experience and her trainer’s runners often do well second time out, especially on the all-weather. Main has struck with six of the 49 qualifiers for a profit of £63.83 and plenty more have run well in defeat, often at big prices. The three-year-old is forecast by the Racing Post to start at 25-1 but could out-run those sort of odds under Hollie Doyle.
