Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the jumps meetings at Hereford and Down Royal for his two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, April 14th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
HEREFORD 3.32
GLANCE FROM CLOVER fell when the 3-1 favourite in a seven-runner handicap chase over Warwick’s easy fences last time and, though successful over today’s course and distance on his penultimate start, he did jumped out to his left on the right-handed track in a 0-100 contest that took little winning. That left-handed trait also cropped up when he was beaten over course and distance in January, and he looks worth opposing in this 0-105 handicap chase. Sell at 18 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Oppose GLANCE FROM CLOVER in Hereford 3.32
DOWN ROYAL 4.50
TANGENTAL tends to come good in the spring, opening his account when 50-1 for a 2m4f handicap hurdle in Fairyhouse in March 2021 and doubling his career tally when justifying 2-1 favouritism at Clonmel in March of last year. The eight-year-old finished a creditable fourth in a handicap chase at Navan in January when we last saw him – his first chase start since December 2021 – and he looks a likely improver now he’s got some sun on his back. Progeny of his sire, Fame And Glory, tend to peak from age eight onwards and he rates a solid buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market.
Recommendation: Back TANGENTAL in Down Royal 4.50
