Gabby Agbonlahor was reduced to tears after Manchester United’s late winner against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
The talkSPORT presenter often has it in for the Red Devils; but United supporters will be enjoying the last laugh. Scott McTominay’S late header sealed Agbonlahor’s fate.
Friend and co-presenter Jamie O’Hara uploaded the video on to X, formerly Twitter, after Erik ten Hag’s side secured a fine 2-1 victory at Villa Park.
Gabby Agbonlahor On Man Utd
Gabby Agbonlahor and Manchester United are certainly not a match made in heaven. During Agbonlahor’s playing days with Aston Villa, he won just one game against them in 22 appearances.
He recently slated Nemanja Vidic, claiming he ‘wasn’t all that.’ The former Villa forward regularly calls out boss Erik ten Hag and even clashed with Andy Goldstein about the Dutchman.
Prior to Sunday’s Premier League clash, Agbonlahor claimed he would wear an Antony shirt if he scored. Luckily for him, the Brazilian winger didn’t feature.
The Red Devils have now gotten the better of Villa twice this season. They won the reverse fixture at Old Trafford 3-2 after going 2-0 down.
Whatever it is that narks Agbonlahor so much about the 13-time Premier League winners, he may want to be a bit more reserved about them moving forward.
Hassssssss anyone seeeeen Gabby in Malaysia 😂😂😂😂😂 @ga11agbon pic.twitter.com/yvwOOs9RYM

Aston Villa Form
Since winning 15 home Premier League games on the bounce, Aston Villa have struggled to rediscover their early season form.
Unai Emery’s side have now lost three consecutive games in all competitions at Villa Park. They also drew with bottom side Sheffield United at the end of December.
Villa’s form isn’t a huge cause for concern. Yet. However, it is something they need to address if they want to continue their charge for a UEFA Champions League place.
They remain one point behind Tottenham in fifth. They still have a five point advantage over Manchester United but must be cautious and weary of improvement.
If not, expect to see Gabby Agbonlahor shed a few more tears between now and the end of the season. Especially if United do finish above Villa.
Social Media Reactions
As you would come to expect, a plethora of Manchester United fans were quick to poke fun at Gabby Agbonlahor. The majority of the social media reactions on X were light-hearted.

Maybe that’ll shut the melon up for a week or two, constantly slagging us off on the radio, yet we’ve beaten them home and away in the last 6 weeks! 😆
