The four-year-old looked flattered by November’s Chelmsford novice win where he had the best of the draw and he’s finished 12th of 13 and eighth of 12 in his two previous runs in handicaps. PRETENDING makes the long trip from Newmarket to contest this modest 2m1f handicap and the five-year-old looks interesting back on a stiff track after his modest fourth at Lingfield last month. Her two previous runs on tracks with stiff/uphill finished produced a 2m4f Sandown win on her penultimate start and a runner-up effort in a hot race at Cheltenham over today/s trip. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
