He’ll be looking to prove this ‘Galopin double’ wasn’t a fluke for a third time in the Irish Gold Cup on Saturday and is the clear second favourite with the best UK horse racing betting sites.
But despite being the big alternative to last year’s Irish Gold Cup winner, there are some alarming track stats that Fastorslow will have to overcome if he’s to topple the Willie Mullins horse again.

While his overall form at Punchestown is solid – reading 2-2-5-1-1, to suggest this Irish track is his preferred weapon of choice.
However, win lose or draw on Saturday in the Gold Cup, the good news is that his Cheltenham Festival record is not too shabby either – having run second in the Ultima Chase and the Coral Cup.
Meaning, if these Leopardstown track stats continue for Fastorslow on Saturday, there is a decent chance he could bounce back at Cheltenham in the Gold Cup in March.
