Lingfield Racing Tips: Venetia Williams & Gary Moore Have A 29% SR With Their Chasers At The Surrey Track
With four of the five LIVE ITV3 races at Lingfield over fences, then having the top trainer chase stats in your corner can be a great way to find the winners.
The gruelling Surrey National (3:35pm) will be one of the chasing highlights on the card, plus horse racing fans will also get a chance to see the return of the classy former Cheltenham Festival winner L’Homme Presse, who was last seen unseating in the 2023 King George VI Chase at Kempton. He goes in the Fleur De Lys Chase (3:00pm).
Lingfield also don’t race much on the turf or over jumps – with the bulk of their fixtures coming on their all-weather track.
Therefore, when they do stage a jumping turf meeting, the trainer track stats can be a valuable tool when hunting through the cards.
For example – big trainers like Venetia Williams, who trains the already mentioned L’Homme Presse, boasts a decent 29% strike-rate with their chasers at Lingers, with Gary Moore also operating at the same percentage with his runners over fences.
