Unai Emery has been one of the most consistent managers in the Premier League since coming back to England for a second stint in management and his salary has reflected that.
The Spaniard is earning £6.1m per year at Aston Villa according to CelebrityNetWorth, which works out at around £118,000 a week to manage the Midlands side.
Aston Villa Paid Villarreal £5.2m Compensation To Sign Unai Emery
Aston Villa signed Unai Emery from La Liga side Villarreal in November last year, with the Premier League side paying a £5.2m fee in order to secure the experienced manager.
Emery took over from Steven Gerrard at Villa Park at the end of 2022, after the Liverpool legend won just two games in his first 12 matches of the Premier League season.
During his time in charge of Villarreal, Emery was able to win the competition he had so much success in with one Europa League title before leaving for a return to the Premier League for a second stint.

Emery has been one of the most consistent managers in England since he made the move to Aston Villa last year, with only Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool racking up more points than Villa since the Spaniard took charge (according to PlanetFootball).

Villa’s home form has been one of the best in the Premier League this year, with Villa Park becoming a fortress for teams to come and visit. The Villans have played five Premier League games at home so far this year, winning every one of those matches including an impressive 6-1 drumming over Brighton.
But it’s not just in the Premier League that Villa have been impressing in, with a great record in the Conference League turning heads as well this season.
Emery’s side have almost qualified for the knockout stages already after three wins from their first four games, with the side level with Legia Warsaw on nine points at the top of group E.
Unai Emery Career Before Villa
Aston Villa isn’t the first team that Emery has managed in England, with the Spaniard taking charge of Arsenal during a disappointing era for the Gunners in between 2018-19.
Emery is most known for his time in charge of Sevilla between 2013 and 2016, when the manager led his side to an impressive three Europa League titles in a row which earned the boss a big move to PSG.
At PSG, Emery won both of the French cups in both of his years in charge, as well as one Ligue 1 title before he eventually left in 2018 after just two years in charge of the French champions.
It was after he departed PSG that Emery took over at Arsenal, where he led his side to yet another Europa League final before the Gunners were taken out in the final by Eden Hazard’s impressive Chelsea team.
Emery then made the move back to Spain to take charge of Villarreal, where yet again the manager showed just how good he is in Europe with another Europa League title to add to his trophy cabinet.
