The former Barcelona attacker sustained an ACL injury while on international duty and it’s just 7/4 that he has already pulled on the famous yellow shirt in a major tournament for the last time.

SportsLens also go just 1/7 that he sits out the Copa America in 2024 and 6/4 that he is missing from Brazil’s World Cup squad in 2026.

It’s just 3/1 for Neymar to announce his retirement from football completely by the end of 2024.

He was taken off on a stretcher in tears during Brazil’s 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in the first half of the 2026 World Cup qualifier, also rupturing his meniscus in his left knee.

Injuries haven’t been kind to the winger, who has been absent for a prolonged period of time over the last two seasons with PSG with a number of different ankle issues keeping him out of action.

Neil Roarty, Betting Expert at SportsLens, said: “Injuries appear to be becoming a regular occurrence for Neymar and it could see his international career come to an abrupt end.

“Neymar is just 2/1 to announce his retirement from Brazil by the end of 2024 with the odds suggesting he might have already played his last major tournament with next summer’s Copa America likely to come too soon.”
