England Secure Euro 2024 Qualification With Two Fixtures Left To Play
Gareth Southgate’s side kept up their unbeaten streak in Group C on Tuesday night with a huge 3-1 win over Italy thanks to a brace from Harry Kane and a stunner from Marcus Rashford.
The Three Lions needed to avoid defeat at Wembley to secure their place at next summer’s Euro 2024 in Germany, and they made no mistake in doing so. Despite former West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca opening the scoring early, England were superb in turning the game around.
Having come from 1-0 down to eventually win 3-1, it was a special night for Southgate’s side with Jude Bellingham showing once again why is is one of the best players in the world right now.
The Real Madrid midfielder dictated the game with his Player of the Match performance, winning a penalty and providing Rashford with an assist.
