Former Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has revealed that he turned down some ‘huge’ offers from Saudi Arabian clubs and that he regrets leaving Juventus after just three years in charge.

Saudi Offers For Conte

Antonio Conte may be out of a job right now, but the Italian manager has said that he was offered a ‘huge’ deal from a Saudi Arabian club recently which he declined.

Saudi Arabian teams were picking up some of the biggest names in football during the summer and there were offers on the table for Antonio Conte who was sacked by Tottenham in March.

“I’ve rejected a huge proposal from Saudi — I decided to say no.

“I regretted leaving Juventus after just three years. I’d like to try an experience in Roma or Napoli one day those are two clubs that I’d like to try for the passion fans have.

The 54-year-old managed Juventus for three seasons, winning Serie A in each year before resigning after completing the hattrick of titles in 2014.

Conte has been in talks recently with Napoli, but the experienced manager chose to shut down rumours of a move to the Azurri or Roma at the minute despite his admiration for both clubs.

“I don’t take jobs during the season because there are situations that have been created before I arrived.”
