Jude Bellingham scored another winning goal in the depths of injury time to help Real Madrid to victory in their opening Champions League Group C clash with Union Berlin.

The encounter was goalless until the 94th minute when the English superstar found himself in the right place at the right time to poke home into an empty net following Federico Valverde’s deflected effort.

Bellingham is quickly becoming one of the highest rated footballers on the planet at the age of just 20 following his £88.5m move from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

In six appearances for Los Blancos so far, he’s netted six goals – three of which have been winners in added time and the fairytale start to life in Madrid continues.

According to Champions League betting sites, Madrid are the third-favourites behind current holders Manchester City and German outfit Bayern Munich to win what would be a 15th honour.

The club have already won a record 14 titles, seven ahead of AC Milan in second, eight ahead of Liverpool and Bayern in joint-third and nine clear of domestic rivals Barcelona with five.

Madrid have won every game they’ve played so far this season, accumulating five straight league victories to top the La Liga table with 15 points.

They’ll be a key player in Europe’s most elite club competition once again this year, bidding to win their second crown of the new decade after triumph against Liverpool in the 2022 final.
