Ukraine Vs England Preview

Another win here for England would all but secure their place at Euro 2024 next summer. Gareth Southgate’s side have won all four of their Group C games so far and are currently top with a maximum 12 points. They have been impressive so far scoring 15 goals and conceding just one.

England beat Ukraine 2-0 on Matchday 2 of the qualifying stage back in March where Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane scored the only goals of the game. The Three Lions followed up that victory at Wembley with a 4-0 away win against Malta, and a 7-0 triumph back on home soil against Macedonia.

As for Ukraine, they have won both of their qualifiers since defeat to England beating both North Macedonia and Malta themselves.

Harry Kane will captain his nation for the first time since his summer move to Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
