The Saudi Pro League has expanded since it first took the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo in January. This summer has seen world class players ditch their clubs for the big cheque. The likes of Neymar, Mane and Benzema are amongst those and the Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are desperate to sign Liverpool star Mo Salah.
Terms between Mo Salah and Al-Ittihad have been agreed. The Egyptian would be the highest-paid player in the world with a payment of £191m for a three-year-deal. That means Salah would receive nearly £3.7m a week. The fee that Liverpool would receive at this moment in time is unclear but it’s believed that the Saudi Arabia side would be willing to pay up to £90m for the 31-year-old.
Liverpool, of course, have now rejected that offer and want Salah to stay at Anfield. Salah is more than happy to stay at Liverpool which is a bonus for Jurgen Klopp’s men. However, if Salah were to leave, Liverpool target Federico Chiesa would be the perfect replacement, according to TuttoMercato.

It’s understood that Juventus would want £60 million for the Italian, which isn’t unreasonable for the 25-year-old, especially in today’s market. Klopp believes that the Chiesa is the perfect replacement for Mo Salah. He will have big shoes to fill as Salah overtook Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in goals for the club. Salah has 187 goals in 307 appearances for the reds.
Chiesa only scored four goals in thirty-three appearances last season for Juventus. But, players always seem to thrive and become world class players under Klopp and if Salah does leave Merseyside, Liverpool fans will be hoping for the German to work his magic on yet another player.
