First up for Jason Weaver comes Cherry Blossom in the opening race of the afternoon on Thursday at the 2023 York Ebor Festival. The ITV Racing pundit is siding with the AP O’Brien-trained two-year-old as the 5/2 second betting favourite with the best horse racing betting sites.

It’s another wide open renewal of this cavalry charge and the selection was arguably unlucky from a wide, starting store position at Wolverhampton last time to not get the job done, back on a straight track with a few of the pace runners drawn around him. Bibendum can out run his double digit odds.

Next up for the ‘Weaver Shark’ is Terwada in the Clipper Stakes, this time for trainer Ed Walker and jockey Tom Marquand. The three-year-old colt is an 11/1 outsider with the best UK sports betting sites.
Terwada is related to some very decent triple, digit-rated runners, and made no mistake on his handicap debut beating a fair yardstick in the gatekeeper at headquarters, we have lots of the old favourites in here, and this three-year-old is the new pretender on the block, and he’s open to much more progress.

Jason Weaver’s penultimate betting tip from the live ITV races from York on Thursday comes in the featured race of the afternoon – the Yorkshire Oaks. The Paddy Power blogger is backing Stay Alert each-way for trainer Hughie Morrison and jockey Oisin Murphy.
Stay Alert got knocked over in Ireland, the last time, and would arguably have been the winner. She will need to settle early as she can be quite aggressive and ruin her winning opportunity, but we have a former champ in the saddle, and she looks overpriced by the best online gambling sites.

Sea Theme has been brought along steadily by her excellent handler, and now turned up completely and exposed for his favourite meeting of the season, she wasn’t fully extended to win at Doncaster over this distance, and will have learnt plenty from that experience.
